Health Saga

On November 13, 2004, Jana's life (and indeed my own) changed forever. It was the first day of an ensuing six-year odyssey of pain and frustration that would take us across the country and into crushing debt in a frantic search for answers that would ultimately never materialize. From Interstitial Cystitis to Lyme Disease to Stage IV Breast and Bone Cancer, Jana experienced several lifetimes of suffering that no single person should have to endure. Through it all she remained strong and resolute, surviving longer than any doctor expected. The photos shown here, poorly captured with my cell phone, chronicle a tiny part of that journey.
